5th Avenue Re-launches with a Spectacular party in Puerto Banús
A spectacular party marked the relaunch of trendy venue, 5th Avenue, soon to become the new in place to enjoy a relaxed drink, an exciting dinner in a modern setting, or meet with the party crowd in the chicest surroundings.
Under new management with Johnnie B Gomez, 5th Avenue is soon to become the hot new Marbella venue with the B.E.D. concept of beverages, entertainment and dining all in one fabulous place, close to Puerto Banús.
Johnnie B brings with him the sophistication of his New York entertainment industry background, with the personal touch of his Dominican roots and years of hospitality experience in Spain.
The venue has been revamped with soft, chic lighting, giving the spacious club a more intimate ambiance. A mezzanine floor, up a sweeping staircase, houses the restaurant area, and a chic and luxurious lounge area with the best views of the in-house entertainment, which on the night of the inauguration included sensuous acrobats working on rings, ropes and silks, suspended from the
ceiling, belly-dancers, musicians and the best DJs in town including Mario Zarate. Dj Sergio and Dj Jingo.
There is also a spacious terrace area, with patio heaters for guests who prefer to party al fresco, and where smoking is permitted.
The restaurant, which opened on 24th November, is serving a select menu of the freshest gastronomic delights, including sushi, and meats from one of the most exclusive fincas in Spain. The chef, Nushan Alwis has forged his reputation at some of the best establishments on the Coast. With menus featured on iPads, diners can click through to lists of ingredients and images of dishes, taking the guess work out of ordering a memorable dinner.
Guests at the inaugural party were able to get a taster of the exciting music and entertainment on offer at 5th Avenue. With stunning luxury cars from Guarnieri and custom designed motorbikes from Matt Black, and acrobats astounding everyone with their cheeky absailing displays on the entrance to the building – guests were transfixed from the start.
Inside the revamped venue, live trumpet and guitar playing along with a range of funky and house beats from the top Dj’s, a sassy fashion show featuring glittering designs from Tresor Paris and i-Pel furs, and rivers of champagne celebrated this thrilling new phase for one of the most trendy venues in Marbella. And with drinks, cocktails and bottle service at realistic prices, clients at 5th Avenue can look forward to a warm and welcoming winter experience.
