Openings and closings here in Marbella are a daily occurrence, and the chance of getting our favorite Mayoress to any one of them is between impossible and highly unlikely, so when she does come along to cut the ribbon, you know it’s an important event.
And indeed such was the case this week with the launch of the new Cortijo Care Marbella, where said ribbon was dutifully separated by Angeles Muñoz, Mayoress and most esteemed friend of Marbella town.
Along with councilors Alicia Jimenez, Pablo Moro and Manuel Cardenas, the Town hall was fully represented to help President, William Keep launch this wonderful addition to San Pedro de Alcantara, Marbella along with manager Patrick Shaw and medical director, Dr. Jaime Galán.
Cortijo Care is an exclusive and luxury Psychological Wellbeing Clinic offering a unique, holistic and therapeutic approach to Alcohol and Substance Abuse, Eating Disorders and General Psychiatry.
Set in 6,800 metres of beautiful parkland, Cortijo Care is just a 5 minute flat walk to the beach, offering a setting of complete privacy, safety and serenity. Their program is an invitation to discover, learn and to change, utilising the most comprehensive and sophisticated treatment programmes available.
Cortijo Care is supported by a multi skilled and multi disciplinary team who offer an individualised approach to care delivery for in-patient, day patient and out-patient services.
As it would hardly be fitting to hold a cocktail party to celebrate the event in a rehabilitation centre, the party retired to the Hotel Puente Romano for some canapes and cava, where the guests could sip away without feeling guilty.
