Madrileño artist Emilio Sanchez Guillermo has opened his latest exhibition at the Kasser Rassu art space in Marbella.
The Lycée Français educated and former draftsman of the Archaeological Museum of Hamburg, Germany was on hand to greet Marbella’s “arty-farty” folk who always flock to Kasser Rassu to see whats happening in the art world.
The one thing that joins all these pieces at the gallery is the colours, all pastel shades, many blues, magentas and cyans clearly adorn Emilio’s palatte as he works, in fact I would guess that blue must be his favorite colour. Some of the work is very geometric reminds me of Artist Maeve Wright. Elsewhere, Emilio goes for the opposite, using only curved lines in an almost surrealistic form, all rather pleasant to the eye, and I’m sure would fit in almost any home.
So another success for Shahed Kavousi at Kasser Rassu, what, I wonder will she bring us next month?
