Walter Fischer, well known Marbella Mercedes dealer, expanded his empire (hic) with the launch of his F1 Gallery next to the main showroom in San Pedro de Alcantara.
Genevieve Wendelin and her fantastic studies of the animal world was the first Artist to show her works at this excellent new art space.
Genevieve Wendelin was born in Finland in 1970. After finishing the University in London in 1992, she continued her studies at the Open University of Art and Design in Helsinki (TaiK) taking courses in drawing the human body and perspectives. Later she perfectioned her technique with courses of pastel drawing with Pedro Ramirez in San Pedro de Alcantara. She initiated her professional career in 1995 with mural painting and trompe l´oeil, both in Spain and abroad and finished numerous large scale comissions directly on walls for private art collectors, architects, and 5 star hotels. In 2006 Genevieve returned to work mainly from her studio and kept her first solo exhibition of watercolours called the Seeds of Love. Now, after spending long periods close to nature and out at sea, her paintings today reflect concerns about our planet, the animal biodiversity and conservation.
