Focusing on the Arabian Horse and Hunting Falcons, this exhibition was sure to be a winner for two reasons: One: The World Cup had just started, keeping the gallery clear of non serious visitors, thus enabling the true art hunter freedom to study the work closely without hindrance from the heathen masses. Two: Tariq’s work speaks for itself, sharp, detailed, well executed imagery of some of God’s finest creatures. Sadly though I felt the images were let down somewhat by the framing, these works screamed out to be printed on acrylic with no frames to distract the viewer from their beauty.

Tariq Dajani is a Jordanian photographer, born in England in 1965. Tariq spent his early years moving between the Middle East and Europe, gaining an understanding and an appreciation of different cultures and traditions. He grew up with a strong interest in the arts which subsequently led to a career in photography. He returned to the Middle East after working for over twelve years in England and Sweden shooting for advertising agencies and design companies and developing a distinctive style in his personal art work.

Tariq Dajani’s fine art series showcasing the Arabian horse won international acclaim. Following his return to the Middle East from Europe the photographer spent three years building an impressive body of work on the Arabian horse, working extensively in Jordan.
