Last week, the free monthly networking events, TweetMarbella, held their first get together after the summer break with attendees from all industries, who had travelled from as far as Gibraltar and all along the Costa del Sol and inland Malaga.
Now in its 5th year, TweetMarbella is one of the most successful networking events on the Costa del Sol and has reached the impressive milestone of over 2,000 business professional attendees registered since it started in 2007.
To celebrate this achievement, TweetMarbella has recently undergone a makeover. Its newly designed website www.tweetmarbella.com is now the focal point of all the social media marketing and promotion of the monthly events and also has some great advice on networking, from tips for overcoming shyness to how to follow up the people you meet at a networking event.
The new look website also promises a handy business directory for all attendees to promote their business openly.
Event organiser, Nicola Erlich, says:
“Marbella is a melting pot of different industries and nationalities and TweetMarbella reflects this international business vibe. We do not exclude anyone or limit industry sectors but offer a networking event that is natural, not forced or selective.
TweetMarbella appeals to those who are looking to network, for business or social reasons, in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.”
If you are interested in attending one of their free networking events, register on their website www.tweetmarbella.com or connect with them on Facebook www.facebook.com/TweetMarbella or Twitter @TweetMarbella.
Their next event will be on Wednesday 2nd October from 19:30 onwards at Guey Restaurant in Nueva Andalucia.
